As many of you are aware, for quite some time Grace has agreed to supply Project Share with 700 cans of tuna each month to help in their effort of  providing food for less fortunate families of Carlisle.

But did you ever really think about what that really means?  Let’s start with the tuna – you can typically get 70 cans from just one tuna.  This is an on-going ministry of our church, so don’t forget to bring 4 cans of tuna on the second Sunday of each  month and place in the container in the gathering.  If you’d rather, you may make a cash donation.

Cans of tuna provide the base for many casseroles or sandwiches for children’s lunches for a whole lot of Carlisle families.  With the state of the economy, Project Share is serving more families than ever – let’s see if we can beat last year’s number of cans this year!
