In the name of Jesus Christ, we support and participate in a wide array of ministries to bless and care for the people of our local community, including…

Carlisle C.A.R.E.S. (Combined Area Resources for Emergency Shelter) - a multi-church homeless ministry organized and based at Grace Church.  The C.A.R.E.S. mission is “To provide shelter when no other shelter can be found.”  Visit the Carlisle C.A.R.E.S. website or contact C.A.R.E.S. Project S.H.A.R.E. – an interfaith, non-profit cooperative effort created to meet the needs of the hungry by providing supplementary food on a monthly basis to the communities of Carlisle, Carlisle Springs, Mt. Holly Springs, Boiling Springs, Gardners, Plainfield and Middlesex, New Kingstown, Pennsylvania.  Ministry opportunities include our monthly Tuna Sundays and gleaning projects.  Visit the Project S.H.A.R.E. website to learn how you can help.

Salvation Army Soup Kitchen – members of our congregation regularly provide and serve meals at “My Brother’s Table”, a 365-days-per-year community meal center operated by our local Salvation Army.

Samaritan Fellowship - we support this cooperative ministry which offers emergency financial and other assistance to help people with rent, utility bills, food, clothing and health care, as well as providing free, used furniture to needy people. The Fellowship serves residents of Carlisle Area and South Middleton School Districts.

Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Nicotine Anonymous – we host meetings of these vital lifelines for people struggling with addictive/destructive behaviors and for their loved ones struggling to cope.  Please contact our Church Office (249-1512) or check our calendar for meeting times and dates. Parenting Skills – we offer periodic classes on Christian parenting skills.  These programs are open to the community and childcare is available.  Check with our Church Office (249-1512) to see if any of our parenting programs are currently enrolling.

Red Cross Blood Bank – the Blood Van from the Cumberland County Chapter of the American Red Cross makes Sunday morning visits to Grace Church on a regular schedule – if you’d like to donate blood, contact our Church Office (249-1512) or check our calendar for upcoming times and dates.

Through our Missions Work Area giving, we provide regular financial support to these local ministries: Samaritan Fellowship; Safe Harbour; Meals on Wheels; Project SHARE;  Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry; BirthRight of Carlisle; and C.A.R.E.S.

Our people cheerfully support and assist with many other ministries serving our community, such as the Capital Area Pregnancy Center, Local Mission Projects, our Empower After School Program, and our Upward Sports Ministry.
